Proud Day

Today our oldest son graduated with honors from the finest college in the country. Timothy majored in English at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, the same college his mother and I graduated from in 1981. We couldn’t be prouder.

His brother Levi just finished his freshman year at Westmont, next year he will lead the Vesper’s worship team. He is planning on a double major in English and Philosophy.

Younger brothers Caleb and Joseph are taking us to Washington DC June 10-14 to compete in National History Day. Their project on Honor Crimes won first place in the California competition which took place last weekend in Long Beach. This will be our third consecutive trip to DC to compete nationally. The kids took third and fourth place the last two years. Their team consists of my two youngest, Caleb and Joe and Robyn and Melanie Miles.

What's TheTempleBlog?

The TempleBlog started as my personal blog in October of 2006 with my first post: John Stott – it was a listing of John Stott quotes.

Now it is a different place. I mostly write about two of my convictions: Pacifism and Racism. But I also offer resources: both digital and personal.

If you need Bible Study materials, want to take a more serious look at theology via an online course, or want to dialog with me about ministry and what I call Spiritual Construction, fill out the form here and we can connect and see where the relationship goes.

SBK Productions is your online source for Homeschooling Resources and Art History Curriculum. She also offers several unique devotionals which incorporate Art History with the Church Calendar. Check out her upcoming Christmas Devotional series which would work for individuals, families, small groups, and churches.
